US Democratic nominee Joe Biden has dished up “maniacal stuff” and “unhinged abuse” directed at US President Donald Trump according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
Mr Biden recently labelled President Trump a “climate arsonist” as wildfires continue to burn across a number of US states.
Escalating his attacks on the US President ahead of the November election, Mr Biden argued Mr Trump’s inaction on climate change is exacerbating the devastating fires raging in America's west.
“How many suburban neighbourhoods will have been flooded out? How many suburbs will have been blown away in superstorms? If you give a climate arsonist four more years in the White House, why would anyone be surprised if we have more of America ablaze?” Mr Biden said during a stop in Delaware on Tuesday (AEST).
“California always has summer bushfires, like ours, its natural environment, its vegetation and therefore its wildlife is adapted to it and therefore dependent on it,” Mr Kenny said.
“This is a bad season, and we grieve for people's losses and they need to do more to protect property and lives.
“But if anyone thinks the way to do that is to change the climate, they have lost touch with reality and reason.”
